Valentine Love Knots and Countryman's Courting Favours with, Rachel Harwood

In days gone by a country lad would weave a love favour, a button hole of plated straw, for his love and she would wear it over her heart. Collograph Monoprint Latern Workshop



Come along and join in with a collograph monoprint lantern making workshop at The Old Slaughterhouse, with artist Ali Allen on Wednesday 10th February 18:30-21:30. After first learning the basic techniques and printing on tissue paper, you will then have the opportunity to use your prints to create a unique lantern. This workshop is suitable for both adults and young people aged 8 and upwards.

For the past three years Escape Arts has been working on a Children in Need funded project to enable young people to get involved in music development work.
This summer young people have written and produced a Children in Need single ‘Wake Up The Moon’ which is available to download for only 99p from iTunes and Google Play all money goes to Children in Need.

Money for Old Rope - Open Heritage Weekend

Escape Arts is holding its first ever Open Heritage Days from it beautifully renovated Old Slaughterhouse.  Over the weekend of the 11th, 12th, 13th of September there will be butchers talks, tours of the Sexton Clock, vintage cars, craft fair, Barbershop Quartet, rope making!  Something for everyone in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
